It was spear fishing day at Alderleaf, and the students got to make their own fish spears! They went out and harvested alder saplings, about 1 1/2 in. diameter i’d say, and carved away. Below is a photograph of the step-by-step instructions the lead instructor, Jason, drew on the board. Maybe now the students will bring me back some dinner…
